Evanston Dental Associates, Contact Us

WE LOVE TO SEE OUR PATIENTS SMILE.

The best way to describe Dr. Silberman is to say he’s an artist. The more complicated the problem is, the more of a perfectionist he becomes. I’ll say, ‘It’s fine, it’s fine,’ and he’ll say, ’No, it can be a little better.’

Convenience and comfort

Convenience and comfort

We designed and manage our downtown Evanston office with a single objective in mind: the comfort and convenience of our patients. Early-morning appointments are available, and we are respectful of our patients’ time and make it a priority to stay on schedule. The office is furnished with wireless headphones, and patients may listen to personalized iPod playlists, or watch movies, videos, or a soothing slideshow of spectacular photography.

Cosmetic dentistry services

Cosmetic dentistry services

We approach every procedure—cleaning, fillings, veneers, Invisalign®, and more—as a cosmetic procedure. We use our expertise in cosmetic dentistry to create a cosmetic plan with each patient that produces outstanding results as quickly and efficiently as possible. Our goal is not for our patients' friends and family to notice that the patient has new teeth, but rather that he or she has a beautiful smile.

Whitening
We can safely whiten teeth in several ways. For patients who want immediate results, we use the latest technology offered by the Zoom!® Advanced Power™ Lamp. This in-office supervised technique takes about 90 minutes. An alternative proven whitening procedure utilizes custom whitening trays, which are typically worn at night for about two weeks. Both procedures offer long-lasting results depending on the patient’s lifestyle and diet.

Porcelain veneers
The most conservative of cosmetic dentistry restorations, veneers offer a vitality and beauty that is extremely natural. At the same time, they are incredibly strong. Veneers can correct or enhance any cosmetic situation. The procedure involves removing a thin layer of enamel to allow a custom porcelain facing to be bonded to the tooth. This allows us to lighten dark or miscolored teeth, fix fractured or worn teeth, and straighten crooked teeth without the need for braces! Often, veneer cases can be completed in just two visits.

Invisalign®
Invisalign® uses a series of clear, custom-fit aligners to gradually reposition teeth and allows patients to achieve smiles they can be proud of without wearing traditional metal braces. Invisalign® can also improve oral health by correcting bite, gum, and abnormal wear problems.

Porcelain crowns, implants, dentures
We are satisfied only with superbly matched, beautifully made, and well-fitted teeth, taking equal care with every tooth restoration or replacement, front or back. Our passion and commitment to excellence is evident in all of our restorations.

Cleanings
All hygiene appointments are tailored to suit each patient's needs. They can range from a routine, simple cleaning to a deep cleaning requiring local anesthetic. All our hygienists strive to ensure patient comfort while thoroughly removing stain and tartar and flushing out spaces between gums and teeth where bacteria can breed.

Customized oral hygiene programs
Unique to each patient, the oral hygiene program includes discussion of diet, nutrition, proper brushing and flossing, and special dental cleaning aids, if needed. For the patients’ convenience, all required dental aids are available in our office.

Periodontics

We first consider non-surgical solutions to gum disease, using advanced cleaning techniques and medications. When surgical intervention is necessary, we then call on our highly skilled periodontal partners.
